Dabo Swinney Press Conference: Boston College
Coach Dabo Swinney held his weekly press conference to discuss this week’s upcoming contest with the Eagles of Boston College. The game is taking place inside of Alumni Stadium on the campus of Boston College with a national television audience watching on ABC. The 8pm kickoff time will be preceded with a full day of hype from the ESPN Game-Day Crew who will be in Chestnut hill for the festivities and broadcasting.
Swinney opened his presser with his usual prepared remarks on the team and its progress and the upcoming opponent in the 14th ranked Eagles of Boston College. Dabo opened up by saying “Really good football team. . . Get the opportunity to hook it up on Saturday” Speaking on the point of the season we are now approaching “We work all year to get to this point “ And on his teams performance so far this season “really proud of our team for putting themselves in this position” Speaking on the game in Chestnut Hill “This will be a major challenge for us” On the make up of the BC team he mentioned “This team is built like us as far as they know who they are “ on the comparison to his team “Kinda mirror images of each other in that way” on the differences “ their style is a little different “.
Mentioning the BC personnel Swinney spoke about the BC QB Anthony Brown “QB (Brown) is an outstanding player “ then mentioning the size of AJ Dillon the BC running back”Dillion is 245 lb back “ Describing the Eagles on the offensive side of the ball. . . “Just a very well co ordinated offense “ On the defensive side he had this to say “Every yard is a tough dirty yard versus BC” … ”Really stout inside at Defensive Tackle”…” They have always been stout and good in the front 7 “. . .”Very well coordinated as they game plan for what you do best “
