CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 31 Clemson women’s golf team tied its opening-round score of 293 at the ACC Championship on Friday, finishing the stroke-play portion of the competition in sixth place. The top four teams of Duke, Wake Forest, Florida State, and Virginia have advanced to the match-play semifinals which are set for tomorrow with the finals being contested on Sunday. The top three teams all rank among the top-five nationally as the Cavaliers rank 12th according to Golfstat polls.

Golfstat’s 77th ranked individual, Gina Kim of Duke, took home stroke-play medalist honors after rounds of 68-69-69-206 gave her a three-stroke margin over No. 3 Beatrice Wallin of Florida State.
