The big DT, 6-3 285, currently has 14 offers to date, to include Power 5 schools Alabama, Wisconsin, Michigan and Penn State to mention a few. Michigan is the early favorite to land this talent but it is still early in his recruitment. He helped lead Garber High School, Essexville, MI, to a 7-2 record by recording 63 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 8 sacks.
VanSumeren becomes the 50th player offered by the Tigers and the 6th defensive tackles for this class.
