Tight End Luke Price Out For Season
By Zachary Wagner
Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney announced to the media on Thursday that tight end Luke Price tore his ACL and will miss the entire 2020 season. Price saw action in all 15 games for the Tigers last year and made one start during the 2019 season.
The redshirt junior made four catches last year for 41 yards and was used primarily as a blocking tight end for the Tigers.
With Braden Galloway serving his NCAA suspension last year, the tight end group was one of the groups with the least depth. Price and JC Chalk split reps and the tight ends really never made the “splash” that many expected them too last season.
The return of Galloway will help the tight end room this season in huge strides, but none the less, the injury to Price will be a huge hit to the Clemson offense this coming season.
All of us at Clemson Sports News wish Price a speedy, and healthy recovery.
