No. 12 Wake Forest Tops Tigers

Clemson, S.C. — Clemson (7-10, 1-7 ACC) fell, 7-0, to No. 12 Wake Forest (20-4, 7-1 ACC) on Friday evening. The Tigers fought hard in doubles but dropped the point with consecutive losses at lines one and three. In singles, the Demon Deacons jumped out to an early lead, clinching the match with three-straight wins. On Court 4, Ryuhei Azuma took the first set against Rrezart Cungu, 6-3, but dropped the second frame, 3-6, before ultimately falling 6-3, 2-6, 8-10.
