Simmons Impacting Arizona Off the Field
By: Makenna Biehl
Former Clemson linebacker, Isaiah Simmons, has already made an impact on his new home in Arizona. Simmons was recently drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as the 8th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and has made it a priority to give back to the community. In a statement by Simmons he said, “It was a big emphasis for me to come in and make an impact not only on the field but also in the community.”
The linebacker partnered with Bose and the Arizona Cardinals to donate 60,000 meals to the Harvest Compassion Center, which provides donations to centers in Phoenix, Maryvale, and Chandler. Not only is the center a food bank, but it also provides free hygiene and clothing items to people in need.
Simmons has recently started to join in on the teams virtual meetings, and the donation was a large step into the Cardinals family.
