Covil is currently ranked as the 10th best player in the state of Virginia in the 2022 class as well as the 16th rated safety in the country. He also becomes the 57th Clemson offer, the 5th safety offer and the 15th overall secondary player offered by the Tigers.
The 4-star Covil, 6-0 190, has picked up 38 offers to date and should pick up a few more before deciding on a college of choice.
