Clemson senior safety, Nolan Turner, underwent shoulder surgery in the spring after a scrimmage. The time he took off the field helped him recover physically and helped him gain a new view of the game.
Turner: “After surgery I got to sit back and coach the young guys. COVID gave me plenty of time to rehab on my own.”

Turner is now recovered and feels that he is in a safe environment for the upcoming season. He continually has been showing support for his teammates and encourages players to speak up and share their opinion on the season. This contributes to part of the reason why the senior class decided to lift the typical social media ban.
Turner: “We feel that this is a safe place for us so we can keep playing football.”
