CB Derion Kendrick Post Practice Media Availability 8/17
By Zachary Wagner
Derion Kendrick made his first appearance with the media following the conclusion of fall camp practice on Monday afternoon, speaking with the media on the Tigers practice field.
Kendrick spent his first season catching passes from the Tiger QB and spent last season splitting reps between both offense and defense where he has fully transitioned into one of the leaders in the Tigers back seven. Last season, Kendrick recorded 15 tackles and one interception.
Kendrick was selected to the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award watch list earlier this summer, given to the best defensive back in the nation. In Kendricks words: “I’m not trying to just be a list player, I’m trying to win it.”
