Clemson sophomore standout defensive lineman Tyler Davis met with the media following the conclusion of practice on Monday evening at Allen N. Reeves Football Facility. Davis is set for another great year for the Tigers after recording 44 total tackles and five and a half sacks as a freshman in 2019.

Davis was very high on the new faces on the defensive line including five-star freshman Bryan Breese and Myles Murphy: “they’re real freaks of nature. They’re both so athletic.”

Davis also had high praise for the new look offensive line who replaced four of the five starting players from a year ago, “everyone on the offensive line are studs. We compete against each other everyday and really bring out the best in each other.”

When asked about Matt Bockhorst Davis stated, “he’s a really do it all kind of lineman. He’s good with his hands and his only weakness is he doesn’t have any.”

Speaking on his defensive lineman teammate Nyles Pinckney coming back from injury, Davis had high praise stating that he is looking healthy and his technique is really improving.
