During this past week, Clemson handed out a couple of more offers to prospects in the 2023 class.
4-star Safety Derek Williams picked up his 17th offer on May 25th. Williams, 6-2 185, ranks as the #2 safety in the 2023 class and the #4 overall player in the state of Louisiana.
Defensive lineman Kayden McDonald landed a Clemson offer on May 24th. McDonald, 6-3 310, is a former teammate of current Clemson linebacker Barrett Carter. As a junior, McDonald racked up 95 tackles including an unbelievable 58 tackles for loss, 19 sacks and 15 quarterback hurries. He is a big target for Kirby Smart and will be a battle to get him out of the state of Georgia.

The two offers raise the Clemson offer list for 2023 to 87, a far cry from most Power 5 football programs. Of the 87 offers, 9 have committed elsewhere and 4 have committed to the Tigers, leaving 74 still in play.
