Coach Dabo Swinney recently handed out an offer to a 2024 quarterback, something he rarely does. Swinney doesn’t normally hand out offers too early but there are instances.
5-star QB DJ Lagway becomes the 3rd offer in the 2024 class for Clemson. Lagway, 6-2 215, has picked up 30 offers to date, and is ranked as the top player in the state of Texas and the #4 quarterback in his class.
Playing for Willis High School in Willis, Texas, Lagway completed 137-247 for 1,579 yards, 17 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He ran 127 times for 715 yards, adding six more touchdowns. Lagway has confirmed a visit to Clemson in the near future.
The previous two 2024 offers went out to 5-star LB Sammy Brown and 5-star DL Hevin Brown-Shuler.
