Five Star and 2019’s Top Player in the State of South Carolina Zacch Pickens
If you have followed Clemson football and you are a fan of current incumbent starter Kelly Bryant. Then you may also be familiar with all the hard work and training that “KB” has put in prior to and during his current tenure at Clemson.
A large part of that training and effort was done under the watchful and ever critical eye of Ramon Robinson. Robinson, the founder and CEO of EPT (Elite Position Skills training) is personally responsible for taking Bryant under his wing. At the time Bryant was a young high school sophomore that ran an option and veer offense that was not asked to read a defense or a route tree or play the position as it’s played at other levels. Robinson took and molded him over the next 2.5 years into a 4 star heralded all purpose quarterback. And one with offers from all over the power five and the offer he coveted most, and the one that would eventually lead him to pick Clemson.
EPT Founder and CEO Ramon Robinson at the SC Football Hall of Fame awards were he received the “Humanitarian of the Year” award for all he has done in the State of South Carolina to advance HS athletes and their dreams of playing in College.
Robinson, who has an excellent and note worthy track record over the last 5 years of placing not just Bryant but a host of other QB’s and elite skilled players into colleges and universities all over the map. You can cite Clemson co starting running back Tavien Feaster, and new comer defensive tackle Josh Belk as EPT alums on the Clemson roster. And look for more of the same in the future… As a host of 2019,2020, 2021 and 2022 prospects are expected to attend this years Annual EPT Skills Camp being held at Irmo High School .
As mentioned, a host of the best instate prospects are expected to attend. Including the state of South Carolina’s #1 overall player in 2019 Zacch Pickens. Pickens, who has been on this analyst’ radar literally since the first play of his High School career (as we were on hand to witness Pickens at his first HS game). Pickens will be the head liner and the one gaining the most interest. Zacch is a Five Star and one of the most sough after prospects on the entire national recruiting map. And it will be his 2nd consecutive EPT camp.
But don’t over look others like Greenville High School QB Davis Bevelle (6’5 210), a tall athletic and vastly under rated QB that has a cannon attached to his shoulder. Davis who has gotten recent offers from Northwestern to go along with Pitt and Cincinatti as well as most of the IVY League and Appalachian St. and Georgia State locally. Keep a serious eye on Bevelle who will continue to pile up offers over the summer months. In recent weeks Bevelle was one of the top guns at the rivals and under armour camps held recently as they make the annual rounds regionally. Both Rivals and 247 have stated post camp he’s a “fast riser”. It’s just a matter of time before the rest of the college football world is exposed to this hidden gem in the upstate of South Carolina. Both instate school were already full at QB as their currents rosters are above need, an had their allotted 2019 offers out there prior to Davis’ stock rising like it has. Since that time Bevelle last fall tore it up at GHS and is now the top QB in state and the result is he will probably play out of the state just like another over looked QB in now NFL draftee Mason Rudloph, who’s recruitment took basically the same path.

Another Qb to look out for is 2020 Myrtle Beach product Luke Doty. Again all these players are under Robinson’s guidance and training on a weekly or monthly basis and its showing up on fields all over the map on Saturdays in the fall.
