ESPN will provide multi-day, multi-platform coverage of the early National Signing Day period as the 2018 freshmen class is the first recruiting class to have the choice of utilizing the new signing period that runs for 72 hours beginning Wednesday, Dec. 20 and concluding Friday, Dec. 22. Five of the nation’s top recruits—four in the Top 20 of the ESPN 300—will make their announcements as part the two-day event on ESPNU, including No. 5 K.J. Henry and No. 10 Terrace Marshall Jr. SEC Network will air conference centric coverage and Longhorn Network will dedicate four hours to the Longhorns’ newest recruiting class.

ESPNU will air a two-hour National Signing Day Special on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 2:30 p.m. ET and Friday, Dec. 22, at 3:30 p.m. Matt Schick will host both specials, joined by analyst Tom Luginbill, who has been a part of National Signing Day coverage since 2006. ESPN.com’s Tom VanHaaren will report throughout both shows.
Recruits of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, FSU, LSU, Ohio State, South Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech will make their announcements as part of the two day special. On Wednesday, No. 5 K.J. Henry, No. 19 Cade Mays, No. 13 Brenton Cox and No. 45 Anthony Cook will make their announcements live on ESPNU. As part of Friday’s special, No. 10 Terrace Marshall Jr. is expected to make his decision between FSU, LSU, Texas and Texas A&M.
