Following the Clemson Tigers big 42-17 win over the No. 7 ranked Miami Hurricanes, Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney took to the podium to take questions via zoom from the media. Clemson moves to 4-0 on the season, and controls their own destiny in the ACC with a record of 3-0 in conference play.
The Tigers defense held the ‘Canes to 210 total yards of offense compared to the 500+ yards Clemson recorded on the offensive side of the ball. All three touchdown passes from Trevor Lawrence found themselves in the hands of tight ends, including two from Braden Galloway. The two touchdowns from a tight end is the first time Clemson has done the feat since 2016.
Here are some of the best quotes from Coach Swinney’s time at the podium:
Swinney: "It seems like we won every competitive play. We had five sacks and had no turnovers at halftime. We came out and got three in the second half."#ClemsonSportsNews
