Clemson, S.C. – Sophomore forward Caroline Conti was named as the ACC Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, picking up the second ACC weekly honor of her career and the second of the 2020-21 season after being named in the fall portion of the season alongside teammate Hensley Hancuff.

The conference recognition comes after being named the United Soccer Coaches Division I Women’s National Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Conti picked up where she left off in the spring season, recording seven points across the Tigers’ opening two games against College of Charleston. The Greenville, S.C. native tallied a brace in Thursday’s opening match before extending her point streak with a goal and an assist in the Tigers’ sweep of the Cougars on Sunday.

As the team’s current leader in goals and points, Conti has played and started all 12 matches for the Clemson squad, totaling 802 minutes on the year.

In just her second year donning the Clemson Orange and Regalia, Conti has tallied 20 career points, 14 of which came throughout the current season.

The Tigers return to the pitch on Saturday, March 6th as they square off with Auburn in a 2 p.m. showing at Historic Riggs Field.
