Clemson Gets 2nd Baseball Commit in a Week
By: Neil Burnett
For the second time in less than a week, Clemson Coach Monte Lee picked up a baseball commitment. Last week, Jay Dillard of TL Hanna committed to the tigers in the 2022 class. . Enter Austin Gordon, current teammate of Dillard’s on the summer league Dirtbags 17U team out of Burlington, NC, committing to Clemson for the 2021 class.
Gordon, 6-5 185, plays his high school baseball at Myrtle Beach. The RHP/SS becomes the 15th commitment to the tiger baseball program for 2021. More to come on this talented pitcher.
Congratulations Austin Gordon (2021 Myrtle Beach High School RHP) on his commitment to Clemson University! #Dirtbag🆙 pic.twitter.com/Uo3n18c3NP
